James is Twilio’s Director of Europe, and brings over 20 years experience of working at the intersection of telecommunications and the web; covering marketing, new product development, product management and sales.
In addition James is an active contributor to the wider tech and marketing community. He mentors at various Startup Accelerators across Europe including TechStars London, and he occasionally co-hosts HashBang.TV a not so regular podcast that profiles the UK’s leading tech community personalities. James was the founding chair of the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Technology Interest Group, and served a successful two year term as a global board director of MEF, the global trade association for companies wishing to monetize their products & services via mobile.
In 2009 James was named in Revolution Magazine’s “Future 50”, and has lectured at The University of Oxford Faculty of Continuing Education and Reading University. James is a Chartered Marketer and holds a post graduate diploma in Strategic Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
