James Lindenbaum

James is a hacker and serial entrepreneur with a background in product development, user experience design, platform marketing, and cloud technology. He is one of the founders of Heroku, an advanced platform for application development and deployment. James is known as an “OCD perfectionist”, and is chiefly responsible for the look and feel of Heroku’s brand and products. Following Heroku’s acquisition by, James founded Heavybit, a San Francisco-based community and program for developer-focused businesses.

He speaks regularly about cloud technology, entrepreneurship, and design, and is an advisor to and investor in many technology companies.
