James joined Clifford Chance in 1991 and specialized in energy, project finance and corporate law. In 1998 he joined Edison Mission Energy and was promoted to VP & General Counsel, Europe in 2001. His experience includes the development of successful businesses through internal growth and acquisitions and in particular the financing, acquisition and sale of wind, coal, gas, and hydro power stations. As well as being Rosslyn Analytic’s General Counsel responsible for all corporate, contractual, IP and legal issues he is leading the development of our Emerging Markets Private Equity Division. James has a 2:1 Bachelor of Laws Degree (with honours) from Manchester University.
