James Cameron is a Canadian film director, producer, screen writer and deep-sea explorer. Cameron has written and directed other movies including The Terminator, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Titanic, and Avatar.
He is the Co-Chairman of the Cameron Pace Group, a leader in 3D technologies. Along with co-founder Vince Pace, Cameron developed the Fusion 3D camera and workflow system, an innovative system used by the world’s top filmmakers.
He has received a number of awards, including three Academy Awards and a Golden Globe Award for his work with Titanic; honorary doctorates from Carleton University (Ottawa), Brock University (Ontario), Ryerson University (Toronto), California State University Fullerton, and University of Southampton; and many others.
