Jaan Orvet is a San Francisco based Web Strategist specialized in Functional Creativity (strategy, concept development and user experience design).
He is known for his progressive approach to web design and development and regularly presents on the topic.
His resumé includes work for Yahoo!, Electrolux, Nearbie, Orchestrate, AstraZeneca, Orbitsville, and Mint. He has co-founded startups on both sides of the Atlantic, including Silicon Valley agency Gray White Black.
Orvet is Swedish by birth and has lived for extended periods of time in London, Stockholm, Washington D.C. and San Francisco.
Orvet is the co-author of “Noded - The untouchable business”.
In the Spring of 2009 Internetworld magazine listed Noded together with Twitter, Apple, Nintendo Wii, and Threadless as companies and ideas that “got it right” and are leading the way to the future.
