Mr. Benjamin Nye is a Managing Director and joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2004. Prior to joining Bain Capital Ventures, Mr. Nye was a SVP at Veritas Software. Prior to Veritas, he was COO and CFO of Precise Software Solutions, where he helped build Precise from a $10MM revenue private company to a $100MM revenue public company prior to its sale to Veritas for $600MM. Earlier in his career Mr. Nye was a Principal at Allied Capital, a public investment company, and he also worked in the U.S. Treasury Department for Treasury Secretaries Lloyd Bentsen and Robert Rubin, and as a consultant for Mercer Management Consulting.
Mr. Nye attended Harvard College and Harvard Business School, where he graduated with honors.
