Formerly, established and led Metacafe’s online marketing activities to position it as one of the top 60 largest English language sites in the world (Alexa). Responsible for a 2,500% increase of monthly unique visitors to 17 million up from 680,000. Driving traffic from search engines by more than 1,000% to position the company as the 4th most popular search term on Google.com in 2006 (Google Zeitgeist 2006) and skyrocketing the company to become today one of the world’s largest video sites, attracting more than 40 million unique viewers each month (comScore Media Metrix) watching 500+ million page views per month.
Prior to that, supervised the creative content and business partnerships department for Pelephone communications Ltd, Israel’s pioneer mobile operator. Developed and managed a variety of creative mobile content products, services and games for the mobile brands of Esc and Pelephone. Lead the company’s media and content partnerships with MTV, 99 Esc Radio, channel 24 and directed the wireless portals of Esc and GoNext/Pelephone.
Formerly, managed the marketing and business development for the A.F.D group, a Washington DC based private investment company of entertainment ventures.
Prior to that, lead various cross-platform marketing activities for NYC Time Warner Cable and directed new advertising applications projects for McDonald’s, Pepsi and Sony on behalf of MVT Inc.
Served 3 years in the Israeli Defense Forces as a combat soldier in the Golani commando Reconnaissance Platoon and later on as a budget officer. Received his BBA with honors from Baruch College, City University of New York.
