Ioana joined Seventure Partners in 2008 as a Partnerwhere she follows as a board member portfolio companies Bewan, DXO Labs and Scaleo Chip. Ioana graduated from Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal and started her career as an R&D engineer successively at Schlumberger and STMicroelectronics. She received an MPhil degree on the production and characterization of nanometer-scale structures from St-Johns College, Cambridge (U.K.). She later joined J.P. Morgan’s FIG M&A practice. Since 1999, Ioana had been a VC at Sofinnova Partners and one of the initial partners at zouk ventures, responsible for deal sourcing and investment execution for the hardware technology area.
