Mr. Schilling has a wide- ranging knowledge portfolio of about 13 years in the Internet- and about 22 years in the software development sector with exposure to international environments and positions that required very different sets of skills.
With the profoundly solid technological basis he developed during his numerous software development projects and the solid management and social (skill) basis he developed during his management assignments he excels in complex assignments to the benefit of his clients.
His career started earlier than most others, until his age of twenty-three, he was assigned in several small to large scale software development projects including R&D for enterprises, CRM, EAI as well as assigned to process-, quality- management and call center (management) projects. He also sold two companies during this time.
After his studies of commercial information technology he worked at the age of twenty-three as Office Manager and responsible manager of software development plus startup founding for ABC- Buecherdienst / Telebook, Inc. in Miami- Beach, Florida. Leaving ABC- Buecherdienst / Telebook, Inc. after six months due to the buyout through Amazon.com, in which he was involved particularly too, he was assigned to Humboldt Technologies, Inc.[1] as Technical Director and Vice President. He got in addition a consultant contract from Amazon.com.
Other stations in the following years until his age of twenty-eight where CompuNet GE Capital Solutions (DE), General Electrics (US), Aperto Multimedia Verlags GmbH (DE), new10 Cross Media Projektplanungs GmbH (AT), Peppermint Financial Partners (DE), sportgate AG (DE), Fraunhofer Institute (DE), COCUS AG (DE). During this time, he was assigned to projects in other countries for the here named companies. His position ranged from consulting software developer to (interims) Manager / CTO / CIO.
At the age of twenty-eight, Mr. Schilling became co- owner of Xendex Germany. He was responsible for Xendex Business Services and Xendex Natural Resources and herein engaged in several projects hands on as well as managing them.
In both the skin as technical and managerial person, he is known as a mover who drives projects ahead schedule, usually also below the planned cost limit. He served several times as project- manager and led in this position teams of maximal 60 PMs.
He was working as Chief Operating Officer / Chief Information Officer at Xendex until the end of August 2007. His management experience in terms of managing a company included a maximal staff of currently 80 people in three locations. He is the leading architect of Xendex current organizational and company strategy as well as technology strategy. This is including the development of ((standardized-,) semi-) automated development and business processes and systems for the ((mobile-) gaming) industry.
