Inaki Berenguer / Pixable
Iñaki is the co-founder and CEO of Pixable, which he started in 2009 while studying at MIT. Pixable is the destination for discovering and enjoying social photos. In 2012, Pixable was acquired by SingTel for ~$30MM. He has since founded Contactive, “The smarter way to say Hello.” He currently lives in NYC.
Iñaki has worked as an engineer and researcher at HP, STMicroelectronics, Intel, and NEC Laboratories America. He also worked as a Manager in the Corporate Strategy Group at Microsoft and as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. He is the author of over 25 research publications in international journals and proceedings, and the inventor of 3 patents. He is also the recipient of the British Council, Fulbright, La Caixa, Cambridge-MIT Institute, Rafael del Pino, and Leonardo Da Vinci fellowships.
He holds Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Engineering from Cambridge University, was a postdoctoral research fellow of the Cambridge-MIT Institute, and did a two-year Fulbright scholarship at Columbia University working with Prof. Xiaodong Wang. He also received an MBA from MIT.
