Ian Kaye has been active in the fuel cell industry for more than a decade and has more than 40 patents in fuel cells, fuel processors, fuel delivery and fuel cell systems. Ian is a founding member of the UltraCell team and invented UltraCell Corporation’s reformed methanol fuel cell technology platform which is the core of the UltraCell XX25â„¢ Fuel Cell.
As Chief Technical Officer, Ian is responsible for the development of new fuel cell technologies which will further increase the performance of UltraCell Corporation’s reformed hydrogen fuel cells. He also actively helps to establish strategic partnerships with military and fuel components providers.
Prior to joining UltraCell, Ian served as Senior Engineer at Analytic Power Corporation and worked on membrane electrode assembly (MEA) fabrication, fuel processing, high pressure hydrogen generation and residential fuel cells. Ian has a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston.
