Hunter Gray is CEO of Atlas Powered, a software company focused on simplifying time management. Hunter co-founded Atlas in 2011 as a response to a growing problem he faced in the $150B Direct Selling Industry. In 2006, Hunter joined the Direct Selling Industry and emerged as one of the industry’s top leaders where he built and subsequently led an organization to over $5M in sales within five years. It was here he met his co-founder Michel Bayan and the two began plotting out a mobile platform to make it easier for salespeople to book meetings with potential clients. The result had consumer appeal - Atlas.
From a young age, Hunter always had a passion for technology and entrepreneurship. During high school, Hunter developed a web directory that aggregated free utilities on the internet in a time when email, personal websites, and search were new and becoming increasingly popular and scattered. In 1998, he rebranded a small home products company and launched their online presence increasing revenue by 250%.
In college, Hunter studied Economics and Psychology where he primarily focused on game theory and technology. He wanted to know how people used technology and what made them decide to pay for it. Hunter spent his senior year examining the effect of hardware and software bundling on consumer purchasing behavior.
Hunter holds a B.A. in Economics & Psychology from Yale University.
