Howard Witkin

Howard Witkin is the CEO of Lead.Net an online vertical market publishing and lead generation company. He has been involved with high-technology startups for two decades. Howard got his start in high tech writing assembly language video games for Atari computers in the early 80s, and was recruited into IBM when IBM launched the PC. Howard cofounded Leviathan Development, a system integrator and software applications development company in 1984 operating as a cooperative marketing partner with IBM.

Howard entered the internet applications and technology space in 1994 and has been a founding partner in several firms in the technology and remote medical diagnostics markets. As a recognized expert on technology issues, he has provided commentary and testimony in courtrooms, on TV shows and in print publications nationwide.

Howard has been involved in web projects in the financial services, lead generation and consumer lifecycle publishing areas.

The managing partner of LifeInsurance.net, Howard Witkin, is a California based life insurance agent and broker. Mr. Witkin is currently licensed in about 45 states, and is appointed to represent about 40 major carriers. Mr. Witkin has written broadly on life insurance and annuity issues and his articles have been carried in Advisor Today, Life Insurance Selling, California Broker, Agent Sales Journal and others.

Mr. Witkin is active in community and charitable affairs in the Los Angeles area. He has received commendations for his community service from the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, The City of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles County Sheriff, and the Governor of California. Mr. Witkin also received the 2003 distinguished service award from a statewide non profit community service organization.

Mr. Witkin is the former executive producer and senior commentator on the Los Angeles-based business and technology radio show TechTalk, and teaches an ongoing seminar series in ethics. He has a BS in Applied Mathematics from UCLA, and lives in Los Angeles with his wife, two sons, twin daughters and lots of Legos.
