Horacio Bouzas

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on November 15, 1956. Studied Physics at the University of Buenos Aires and later Information Management and obtained Masters and PhD degrees. Joined Schlumberger in February 1985 in Houston, Texas, where he worked in several technical and managerial positions until 2000. In the early 1990s he became a US citizen. From 2000 until 2008 he held several management positions in the scientific software development area in Abingdon, UK; Calgary, Alberta and London, UK and Oslo, Noreway. During his career he worked in the areas of software development for Geophysical Exploration, Geological Modeling, Structural Modeling, Reservoir Modeling and Petroleum Economics and holds several patents. He is currently the Technology Integration Manager for Schlumberger Information Solutions and is based in Houston. Horacio is and advocate for innovation, creativity and quality excellence.
