Hongyi Zhou is a co-founder of Qihu 360 and served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company since August 2006. Zhou counts over ten years of managerial and operational experience in China's Internet industry. Prior to founding the company, Zhou was a partner at IDG Ventures Capital since September 2005, a global network of venture capital funds, where he assisted small- to medium-sized software companies in sourcing funding to support their growth. Zhou also functioned as CEO of Yahoo China from January 2004 to August 2005. In 1998 Zhou founded www.3721.com, a company engaged in Internet search and online marketing business in China, and served as its Chairman and CEO until the company was acquired by Yahoo China in January 2004. Zhou is the recepient of many accolades and awards. In 2010, CEO & CIO magazine named Zhou as ""New Economic Figure in the Next 10 Years"". He was also awarded the ""Top 100 CYzone Entrepreneurs"", ""China's Top 25 Outstanding Entrepreneurs"" and ""Entrepreneur of the Year"" awards during the 2009 CYzone Annual Summit hosted by CYzone in Shanghai. Zhou received his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software in 1992 and obtained a Master's Degree in System Engineering in 1995 from Xi'an Jiaotong University, China.
