Homayoon Shahinfar is a strategic market development executive focused on the mobility and wireless markets. He has extensive global experience in developing and growing consumer and enterprise mobility, mobile media, mobile payment, and other telecommunications businesses.
He is a founder and President at Stima Systems Inc., a social impact enterprise and provider of pay-per-use solar energy for the bottom-of-pyramid customers in developing markets. Prior to founding Stima, Homayoon lead strategic business and market development for mobility businesses at BT, mBlox, Openwave Systems, and HP.
Homayoon’s current focus is on developing mobility services with social impact in mind, starting in East Africa and India. He is a strong believer in business pragmatism learned from the many brilliant entrepreneurs at the bottom-of-pyramid.
