Holger has held positions in internet & mobile services since 1998.
Holger works at foursquare as Vice President, Head of Business Development managing mobile distribution and strategic partnerships, setting foursquare’s mobile strategy from a business perspective as well as managing foursquare’s international expansion. He is also overseeing Media partnerships and M&A.
Prior to foursquare, Holger worked at Yahoo Mobile as a Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships, responsible for all of Yahoo’s strategic partnerships with global OEMs (handset manufacturer).
Holger joined Yahoo! in 2005 after heading Portal & Partner Management at T-Mobile International in Europe. In this role, Holger lead Business Development and Partnerships with German and European Business Partners for T-Mobile’s t-zones carrier portal including Publishers, Games, Entertainment, and Search companies.
Prior to T-Mobile, Holger ran Business Development activities as Managing Director, Germany for Red Message, an early European SMS service provider, out of London and Munich.
Holger holds a German Diplom in Business and Japanese from Hochschule Bremen and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
