Shri Hital R. Meswani is the executive director at Reliance Industries Limited, India’s largest private sector enterprise. Reliance Industries Limited is a Fortune Global 500 company with businesses in the energy and materials value chain. Shri Hital Meswani joined the Reliance family in 1990. On August 4, 1995, he was elected on the Board of the Company as a whole-time director designated as Executive Director. He majorly looks after the Petroleum Business and all manufacturing and project activities of the Reliance Group. He has played an important role in the execution of several mega projects of RIL, including the Hazira Petrochemicals complex and the world’s largest refinery, Jamnagar refinery project. He is a director of Reliance Industries Investments and Holdings Limited and chairman of its audit committee. Shri Hital Meswani is also the Director of Reliance Commercial Dealers Limited and chairman of its audit committee. He is a member of RIL’s Finance Committee, the shareholders’/Investors’ Grievance Committee and Health, Safety and Environment Committee. Shri Hital R. Meswani has acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Economics from the Wharton Business School. Both the degrees have been conferred upon him from the University of Pennsylvania, USA. From the same university, he graduated with honors in the Management and Technology program. He serves on the Board of Overseers at the University of Pennsylvania.
