Mr. Winokur is the Managing General Partner of Capricorn. Prior to organizing the Capricorn Partnerships, Mr. Winokur served as Senior Executive Vice President, a member of the Office of the President, and a Director of Penn Central Corporation. Mr. Winokur also held senior management positions at Pacific Holding Corporation (a private entity owned by David H. <itfpvl) and The Palmieri Company and worked in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Mr. Winokur is a director of various portfolio companies. He holds Ph.D., A.M., and A.B. degrees from Harvard University.
