Henri Arif joined Credit Suisse in 2006 and is primarily responsible for conducting due diligence for clean technologies and renewable energy investments, bringing 16 years of professional experience to the team. Henri was previously and since 2001, the managing director and principal of Edge Chemicals LLC, a physical commodities NY based niche-trading firm, where he developed an international trading activity in Ethanol and Biodiesel on the renewable energies side of the business. Prior to that, Mr. Arif was an executive board member and senior manager of a private family holding, with holdings in the chemical & petrochemical manufacturing industry, after having held specific positions at the operational and commercial levels of the business. Previously, he started his career as a product specialist in the mid-market enterprise segment at IBM in France. Henri holds a B.S. in industrial engineering and an M.S. in operations management from Boston University (1990).
