Havoc is an experienced technical leader and an expert in using open-source software to create great user experiences. He’s credited with simplifying and modernizing the Linux desktop user interface, implementing several major components of the operating system, founding the freedesktop.org project, and chairing the GNOME Foundation board. Havoc also managed and recruited the desktop engineering team at Red Hat, the largest Linux operating system vendor.
