Habib is the co-founder of Yamli.com a Boston based startup which aims to empower the Arabic language on the web. He co-founded Yamli with Imad Jureidini in July of 2007. Prior to Yamli, he worked as an engineer at ATI in the graphics group; and before that he was part of the early engineering team at Mok3 (now Everyscape). Habib co-founded INLET an organization, geared towards entrepreneurship and leadership for the Arab world in general and Lebanon in particular. He also founded Relief Lebanon a grass root effort aimed at supporting the relief efforts in Lebanon.
Habib often speaks about early stage development, and entrepreneurship and has talked on such topics amongst others at Harvard Business School, Boston College and the American University of Beirut. He also currently sits on the advisory board of Meedan a San Francisco based startup who aims to enable cross-cultural, cross-language dialogues online.
Habib holds a Bachelor of Computer and Communication Engineering from the American University in Beirut and a Masters in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
