Guy Oseary began his career in his teens at Maverick Records and quickly rose through the ranks to become chairman of the label. He guided the label to sales of over 100 million units globally including 33 million copies of Alanis Morrisette’s debut album. Oseary’s leadership and vision includes development and business management of artist brands, (Madonna), producing films such as the vampire film trilogy Twilight (which has grossed over 2B to date), and concert tours (Madonna’s “Sticky & Sweet Tour” and “MDNA Tour” are ranked the number one and two most tours by a female artist ever). He also serves as investor / advisor to several brands including the leading coconut water brand company Vita Coco, Popchips, Njoy (e-cigarette company) and Viagogo (online ticket exchange).
Since 2004, Oseary has been a principal at the top entertainment management company, Untitled Entertainment (in partnership with Jason Weinberg and Stephanie Simon). The firm oversees a roster of clients including Penelope Cruz, Jeremy Renner, Naomi Watts, Sofia Vergara, Lucy Liu, NY Yankee Alex Rodriguez, and Blake Lively amongst others.
NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly, now in its 13th season, is executive produced by Oseary along with NBC’s New Year’s Eve - also hosted by Daly.
In the fashion realm, Madonna and Oseary have two collections in the apparel industry with partners Iconix Brand Group. The brand includes the international apparel line “Material Girl” and the shoes and intimates line “Truth or Dare”. Madonna and Guy have also launched the worldwide gym chain “Hard Candy Fitness”. The gym currently has seven locations open or launching this year.
In 2011, Oseary founded VC fund, A-Grade Investments with Ashton Kutcher and Ron Burkle. They have invested in companies such as Fab, Airbnb, Spotify, Uber, Dwolla, Path, Soundcloud, Shazam, Groupon, etc.
Oseary has written two books and has two photography books published.
