Gregor Freund has an exemplary track record as a technologist and entrepreneur.
Most recently, Freund was chief technology officer at Check Point Software, a position he assumed following the acquisition of Zone Labs, an Internet security innovator founded by Freund and Conrad Hermann. As CEO at Zone Labs, he was responsible for leading product development strategy and business expansion.
Prior to founding Zone Labs, Freund helped found Starfish Software, a developer of mobile information management technologies, later acquired by Motorola. In addition, he was a principal software architect for software developer Borland, and founded Borland’s first independent development and distribution companies in Italy and Germany.
