Greg Verdino is the president and founder of VERDINO LLC, a consultancy focused on helping organizations achieve improved marketing outcomes through purpose-driven innovation.
Since its launch in 2011, VERDINO LLC has solved business and marketing challenges for a wide range of companies including AT&T, Chirpify, Discover Financial Services, Katz Media Group, Listen Up Espanol, Sanofi, and Samsung; and have partnered with Dachis Group, Luminary Labs, refine+focus and StrategyJQ to help their clients define marketing innovation strategies.
He is also the author of microMARKETING: Get Big Results by Thinking and Acting Small (McGraw-Hill, 2010); a contributing author of Reinventing Interactive and Direct Marketing (ed. Stan Rapp, McGraw-Hill, 2009); and a popular conference speaker who is a go-to expert on social media, marketing and innovation for a wide range of mainstream media outlets including Advertising Age, Adweek, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, CNN, Cablevision News12, Fox News Channel, the New York Times, Newsday, OMMA and the Toronto Globe & Mail.
Prior to starting Verdino LLC earlier this year, Greg was EVP Strategy at Dachis Group, where he led the North American social media consulting practice working BIC, Citibank, Fidelity, GE, Michaels Stores, Nestle and many other leading brands. He joined Dachis through its acquisition of social media agency Powered Inc; and Powered through its acquisition of crayon (the marketing consultancy in which he was a principal). Greg is a serial innovator who brings more than 20 years’ experience in media, marketing and technology gained through roles at Digitas, ROO.tv (now KIT Digital), Akamai Technologies, Wunderman, Blau Marketing Technologies, and Saatchi & Saatchi.
