Since 1996 on the internet industry. Holds a business degree, and at the end of 1995 founded GauchoNet.com, a search engine in spanish. With only 1 million internet users back in 1999 (in Argentina), he achieved an annual income of $300,000.00 only by selling online advertising in his search engine. Citibank, Xerox, Starmedia, Patagon.com, and ElSitio.com were among his world-class advertisers. Three years later he sold his online venture to Terra-Lycos (TRLY: news, chart, profile).
He also has written the first book in spanish about business on the internet (“Negocios en Internet”) published in 1996, and the first one in Latinamerica about marketing online, published in 1997 (“Marketing en Internet”), both of them published in spanish.
Arzuaga has given conferences and seminars in latinamerica about the business opportunities of the internet.
