Washington, DC lawyer offering competition, intellectual property and policy advocacy for technology based enterprises.
Glenn Manishin is a tech-savvy attorney with a multi-disciplinary practice that includes complex litigation, counseling and commercial transactions. He has participated in virtually all of the regulatory, judicial and legislative proceedings affecting telecommunications and the Internet for the past two decades. He was one of the pioneers in technology policy and lobbying for Silicon Valley clients, for instance representing Netscape in the landmark FCC proceedings related to regulatory classification of the Internet and in defense of the first-ever antitrust lawsuit in the Internet “market.†Glenn is also the only attorney to have appeared as counsel-of-record in the most significant antitrust cases spanning two generations — the AT&T and Microsoft monopolization cases. His clients have over the years proudly comprised a veritable who’s who roster of the IT industry leadership, including MCI, Oracle, Google, Excite@Home, Sun, the Recording Industry Association of America, Netscape, Tellme, Echelon, ProComp, EMusic, Travelocity, NorthPoint, WildBlue, Tollbridge, Winstar, Telocity, Siebel, Sling Media, U.S. Web and others. Glenn has also represented such pro bono public interest clients as Consumers Union, the Consumer Federation of America and the Computer Professionals for Social Responsibility (CPSR).
