Giri Iyengar serves as the CTO of Sociocast.
Prior to Sociocast, Giri Iyengar led the science and development efforts for Signal Patterns.
Prior to Signal Patterns, Giri was with IBM in their premier T J Watson Research Center. At Watson, Giri has worked on several exciting research projects ranging from audio-visual speech recognition, high-performance computing for medical imaging and multimedia mining. Giri has published over 45 papers, given several talks and has over a dozen patents. Giri holds a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from IIT Mumbai and a PhD from MIT where he was with the Media Laboratory.
