Gideon Rubin is currently the CMO of Local Market Launch. LLC.
Rubin was formerly the COO of Lenco Mobile USA Inc, the US mobile operations for Lenco Mobile Inc (OTBB: LNCM). Gideon Rubin joined Lenco Mobile Inc. after his company, Simply Ideas was acquired in October 2009. Gideon was CEO of Simply Ideas, a Performance Marketing agency with innovative technology focused on the education lead generation vertical. He is also a founder of MicroGravity Media, a software based search marketing company. Gideon has been a partner at Proper Hosting, a green hosting company, and several highly regarded social media ventures, including 9mp.com, Twitroduce.com, and DoDraw.com.
Gideon has contributed to Search Engine Journal, Performance Marketing Blog, has been featured on Webmaster Radio, and his ventures have recently been selected by KillerStartUps.com and The Launch Pad.
Prior to his work with Simply Ideas, Gideon was the Executive Director of Marketing, Finance & Analytics for a Washington Post (NYSE: WPO) startup and helped launch one of the fastest growing marketing and lead generation businesses in the Education Industry. Gideon began his career at Young&Rubicam Advertising (LSE: WPP) and was responsible for the print, TV, radio, online, and outdoor coordination of the largest integrated ad agency account of its time, Citibank (NYSE: C). His account team won a silver Effie for advertising effectiveness on behalf of their innovative “PC Banking†campaign.
