Giacomo Marini is Founder and Managing Director of Noventi Ventures, a technology venture capital firm, based in Silicon Valley.
He is also Board Member of PCTEL (NASDAQ:PCTI) and of NextLabs, Inc.
From 2013 to 2017 he was Chairman and CEO of Neato Robotics, Inc. From 2012 to 2020 he was Chairman of Velomat.
Earlier, Marini co-founded Logitech
(Nasdaq: LOGI). He was with the company for over a decade as a Director and member of the management team launching Logitech and driving it to become a world leader in computer peripherals.
Prior to Logitech, Marini was with IBM and Olivetti, where he was involved in the development of early relational database management systems.
Marini was Executive Chairman of Neato Robotics and Board Member until November 2018 and Director or investment lead of Aurora Biofuels, Celltick, Ecrio, Heliovolt, and Minerva Networks. He led Noventi investments in Easy Market (acquired by TUI), M7 (acquired by BEA), Sygate (acquired by Symantec) and Dynamicsoft/Teltier (acquired by Cisco).
Marini served as Executive Trustee of the University of California Davis Foundation and as Board Member of NIAF National Italian American Foundation.
