Gerry Campbell is an angel investor and advisor. His portfolio includes several notable early-stage companies, and he is actively investing in the mobile and local space. Recent investments include: VitalBriefing (Luxembourg), & FastCall.

Most recently, Gerry is the CEO/Founder of Frequency Group, which is “an advisory firm dedicated to the creation of high-functioning teams and achievement of extraordinary results." Campbell is currently an Angel Investor at Frequency Capital as well.

Previously, Gerry was CEO of realtime search company Collecta, and raised $5MM as he guided that company through its development, launch and pivot. Before that, he was president and global head of Reuters Search and Content Technologies group, bringing deep domain expertise to existing Reuters products while driving breakthrough innovation in the delivery of relevant information and insight to customers. Prior to that, Mr. Campbell was SVP of AOL's Search and Directional Media group, where he managed the AOL Search, Local Search, Yellow Pages; Netscape Search; and eCommerce Search properties, including all search-based revenue and advertising initiatives. Earlier, Mr. Campbell led Product Strategy for AltaVista's commerce group, the original He has also held marketing and management positions with Compaq and CompuServe, and co-founded Bounce Networks, a digital media startup. Mr. Campbell holds an MBA and a BA in Mass Media from The Ohio State University.

His hobbies include family, running, motorsports and digital media.
