“Gerard Delaney, Senior Vice President Global Sales and Customer Support, brings 20 years of sales, marketing, and support experience in the telecommunications industry in both Asia and EMEA.
Prior to joining Dilithium, Mr. Delaney was General Manager, Mobile Wholesale, at BT Wholesale based in the UK. At BT Wholesale, he managed revenue in excess of $400m and was responsible for BT’s managed services business with mobile operators. In that role, Mr. Delaney had global responsibility for key customers such as Vodafone. Prior to BT, Mr. Delaney was Vice President, Channel Management for Ericsson Wireline EMEA. He held responsibility for a $1B revenue organization and was a key member of a team that led its turnaround from loss to profitability. Mr. Delaney also held a range of sales, marketing, services, and business development management positions during his career at Ericsson in Sweden, Japan, and China.
Prior to Ericsson, Mr. Delaney held management positions in Singapore at Aerospace Industries and at Eircom, one of the leading Irish Operators. He began his career at Mitsui & Co. in Tokyo, Japan. Mr. Delaney holds a BA in Economics and Geography from University College Cork, National University of Ireland as well as an MA with First Class Honours. He also attended Sophia University/Naganumma Institute in Tokyo, Japan on a European Union Scholarship and has completed multiple Executive Education Programs at the Harvard Business School.” (Source: Dilithium Networks)
