An accomplished company leader within the Internet, games, healthy lifestyle and entertainment industries.
Prior to his current roles Mr. Lichter most recently served as President and CEO of InfoSearch Media, an internet marketing and on-line content production company. Prior to that, Mr Lichter Lichter co-founded and served as Co-CEO of Yoga Works, the brand leader in Yoga centers and teacher training. Mr. Lichter continues to serve there as a Board Member and is actively involved in guiding Yoga Works’ strategic direction, expansion and financing.
Prior to that, Mr Lichter served concurrently as President of Ask Jeeves International and CEO of Ask Jeeves UK and Ireland.
As President of Ask.com International, Mr Lichter raised in excess of $182M, led that division to become the first to achieve sustained profitability, and served as a member of the senior management team which led Ask.com from start-up through IPO and beyond.
During Mr. Lichter’s tenure as CEO of Ask Jeeves UK, the Ask UK site grew to become the #5 website in Great Britain.
Before Ask.com, Mr. Lichter served as SVP of New Business Development and International at Vivendi Games (formerly Cendant Software) which included in its portfolio such game developers as Blizzard Entertainment, Sierra On-Line, as well as several leading educational software companies. Mr. Lichter was promoted into that role following the successful sale of Knowledge Adventure to Cendant.
At Knowledge Adventure Mr. Lichter was VP of Business Development and part of the senior team which led the company’s dramatic turnaround and made their JumpStart Learning software series into the #1 educational software brand in units & dollars.
Prior to that, Mr. Lichter was an entertainment attorney in the Beverly Hills law firm of Rosenfeld, Meyer & Susman. Mr. Lichter graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a bachelor’s degree from UCLA and received a JD from the Stanford Law School. Specialties
