George Kadifa serves as Executive Vice President of HP Software and Member of HP’s Executive Council.
He leads HP’s multi-billion dollar Software portfolio, spanning innovative product lines including IT Management, Enterprise Security, Autonomy, and Vertica. As the sixth largest software business in the world, and the #1 or #2 provider in today’s key markets, HP Software leads cutting edge trends from Cloud and Big Data to mobile and security.
Kadifa previously served as Operating Partner at Silver Lake, a global technology investment firm with more than $14 billion of assets under management. He was responsible for driving growth and operational improvement in a wide range of enterprises within the 24-company portfolio of the firm’s large-cap investment fund.
Kadifa has significant expertise in building and managing technology businesses. He has held various Leadership positions at Technology and Management consulting companies such as,
Corio Corporation (founder),
Booz-Allen & Hamilton,
Kadifa holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the American University in Beirut.
An M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology.
An M.B.A., with Honors, from the University of Chicago.
He is based in Palo Alto, California.
