Mr. George Edward Silvanus Robinson is the Co-Founder, Partner, and Chief Financial Officer of Sloane Robinson Sloane Robinson LLP. He is also the Executive Chairman of SLPE LLP. He founded Sloane Robinson in December 1993 and is responsible for stock selections in Asia and risk management. Mr. Robinson previously worked at Cathay Pacific Airways, where he worked for six years in various positions, including sales, marketing, and traffic rights, in Hong Kong, UK, Philippines, … and Korea. He also worked at W I Carr, which he joined in 1985 and established offices in both Seoul & Bangkok, before moving to Hong Kong as regional director of research. Between 1979 and 1985, Mr. Robinson worked for John Swire & Sons in Hong Kong, UK, Philippines and Korea. He is a Trustee at Hedge Fund Standards Board. Mr. Robinson graduated from Oxford University in 1979 with an Honors degree in Engineering.
