George Daum brings more than 27 years of managerial and technical expertise to GridNetworks. Most recently, Daum was Vice President of Sales at Level 3 Communications, focusing on social media and digital media firms. Daum was also Vice President of Sales for Velocix (formerly known as Cachelogic), where he helped to launch the UK-based Velocix in the U.S. and was responsible for all U.S. operations. Daum has held senior management positions with Ingrian Networks (acquired by Safenet) and Sandpiper/Digital Island, which was acquired by Cable & Wireless. Daum began his career as an engineer at Bell Laboratories and he holds a B.S. degree in Mathematics and Computer Science (Cryptography) from the Kean University.
