Gary Weinstein is the Chief Operating Officer of Providence Equity.
Prior to joining Providence in 2008, Mr. Weinstein was a Managing Director and Global Chief Administrative Officer of investment banking at Lehman Brothers. Before assuming this role, Mr. Weinstein was Managing Director and Head of the healthcare, consumer/retail and industrial global industry groups within investment banking at Lehman. During his tenure at Lehman, he also served as Global Head of Capital Markets, Head of Equity Capital Markets for North and South America, Head of European Equities and Global Head of Convertibles. Mr. Weinstein was CEO of Thermotrex Corporation from 1996 to 1999. Mr. Weinstein received a Juris Doctor from the Emory University School of Law and a Bachelors of Business Administration from Emory University.
