Gary Guseinov is Chairman of the Board/Chief Executive Offer of CyberDefender Corporation.
Gary is a seasoned technology-marketing executive, he founded web development and e-commerce firm Digital Media in 1994, where he served as the chief executive officer. In 1998 co-founded Synergy, a performance based online marketing firm, where he served as the President/CTO. During his tenure at Synergy he generated over $2 billion in revenues for its clients including GoToMyPC/Citrix, Oracle, Chase, Nortel, HP, Bank of America, and CitiBank.
In 2003 Gary co-founded CyberDefender Corporation, a publicly traded company, (NASDAQ: CYDE) and raised over $30M from multiple institutional and retail investors. CyberDefender Corporation provides Internet security software, utilities and Live PC Support services that work together to ensure maximum safety for consumers in a digital world. The company develops and markets antispyware/antivirus software and remote, live tech support services. In addition, CyberDefender offers identity protection and computer optimization services. With millions of active users on its cloud based Collaborative Internet Security Network, CyberDefender leverages the power of community to protect its customers from the rapidly growing number of new online threats every year.
In 2005 CyberDefender, developed the first (patent pending) Collaborative Internet Security Network based on a secure Peer-to-Peer network infrastructure. The CyberDefender Collaborative Internet Security Network (or the Argus Network) is the first security network which updates all users within hours of new Virus, Spyware, or Identity Theft attack.
Currently residing with his wife in Los Angeles, California, Gary spends his free time with friends and family, traveling, snowboarding, and developing new technology. Gary participates in various non-profit organizations including Los Angeles Rescue Mission and many others.
