Gabby Oglesby is a digital and entertainment professional in Santa Monica Ca.
A digital visionary with a wealth of expertise across many mediums, Gabby Oglesby is the head of the Talent department and Executive Account Manager at Fanology Social, overseeing all strategies and accounts within the entertainment realm and brand integration. Most recently became the head of Fan Rewards, a social media rewards program designed for entertainers, athletes, musicians and sport franchises. The core functions of the program are to grow fan bases, make the artist (or celebrity) money while providing added value to their brand partners and attract new endorsement deals.
Prior to Fanology Gabby worked as a Media Specialist and Account Manager at the CAA incubated start-up, WhoSay Inc. Here she worked on accounts ranging everywhere from Charlie Sheen to Rihanna. Her job mainly consisted of bringing on new accounts, pitching new clients, and day to day account management…. Her job also included a creative element where she developed and executed strategies utilizing platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, YouTube, Tencent / QQ in China, StubHub, Soundcloud and Instagram.
Prior to WhoSay she worked in production at Cambio, an interactive entertainment site that was started by AOL MGX labs and the Jonas Group, that connects teens and young adults with celebrities and musicians through social interaction, exclusive video and entertaining content. She was one of the very first employees to come aboard and quickly grew as part of the team. Here she coordinated talent bookings and interviews, built and maintained relationships with publicists, managers, studios and artists. She also developed creative original content ideas, relayed breaking news for editorial, liaised between studios on contractual agreements, coordinated live chats between talent and fans to increase engagement, while also utilizing her skills in graphic design and photography.
