Frode Odegard

Frode L. Odegard is the Founder and CEO of the Lean Software Institute, an international management consulting firm that helps IT/software executives implement Lean Transformations. A serial entrepreneur in the software industry since age 17, his career focus has been on developing solutions that help organizations in the IT sector innovate faster and enhance performance.

Frode has more than twenty years of experience as an entrepreneur and trusted advisor to high-tech executives. Before founding the Lean Software Institute in 2004, Frode was the CEO and founder of Odegard Labs, Inc., a software engineering research and consulting firm. Prior to founding Odegard Labs in 1991, Frode was the CEO and founder of M2CS, a Norwegian company building next-generation tools for embedded software developers.

Based in Silicon Valley, Frode spends about a third of his time overseas. His interests outside work include history, philosophy, psychology, mathematics, linguistics, and strength training. He is currently writing a book on Lean Transformations in the IT sector.
