Frank J, Fanzilli Jr
Frank J. Fanzilli Jr. was the Global Chief Information Officer and Managing Director of Information Technology at Credit Suisse First Boston, and a member of the Credit Suisse Group IT Executive Board. During his tenure of almost 2 decades at CSFB, Mr. Fanzilli had global responsibility for the bank’s extensive IT resources, managing over 4,000 IT professionals and $1.5B in spending. In addition, Mr. Fanzilli has been a board member involved in a number of notable technology company transactions, including PeopleSoft, through the sale of the company to Oracle in 2004, nLayers, through their sale to EMC in 2006, and Avaya, through their sale to Silverlake/TPG in 2007. Mr. Fanzilli currently serves on the board of directors at Interwoven, where he has previously been Chairman of the Board and is currently Chairman of the Strategy Committee, and CommVault, which led a successful IPO in 2006. Frank also continues to be involved in a number of private software companies, and currently serves on the boards of IT Structures and Correlix, two early-stage software companies. He is also a Venture Advisor to the Venture Capital firms Allegis Capital and FOCUS Ventures, both in Palo Alto. Mr. Fanzilli received a B.S. in Management, Cum Laude, from Fairfield University and an M.B.A in Finance, with Distinction, from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
