Francis Hwang has been a fixture in the New York Ruby scene since the pre-Rails days. He founded NYC.rb in 2004, and was one of the founding organizers of the Gotham Ruby Conference. He has given talks on Ruby and software engineering at conferences and user groups around the country. In addition, he’s always been keenly interested in finance, and in small organizations, so Profitably is a perfect fit for his interests.
