Florian is a Principal at Teralys Capital, a technology focused Fund of Venture Capital funds with $1.4 Billion in AUM. Florian is responsible for sourcing, performing due diligence and post investment monitoring of fund commitments. Before joining Teralys, Florian worked at Cordiant Capital where he oversaw their Private Equity portfolio in Africa.
Prior to joining Cordiant, Florian was responsible for the Asian and North African portfolios at the Swiss Investment Fund for Emerging Markets (SIFEM), based in Bern. In this capacity, Florian held over a dozen private equity fund Board and Investment Committee seats in countries as diverse as Tunisia and Vietnam and has been a frequent traveller to the regions.
Prior to joining SIFEM, Florian enjoyed stints at the Swiss-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, based in Shanghai, and at Quantum Corp, in their Neuchatel office. Florian previously lived in Montreal where he founded Exposing Art, a small e-commerce company that focused on publishing the work of local, unknown Artists.
Over the years, Florian earned an MBA from EBS at Heriot-Watt and an LL.M in International Business Law from the University of London.
