Fearghal is a partner at SEP and focuses on software, communications and semiconductors. His investments include: Powervation, the Limerick based power management chip company; Clavis Technology, the Dublin based data quality governance software company; and Tideway, the London based infrastructure mapping solutions company.
Before joining SEP, Fearghal spent five years at Accel Partners where he was a founding principal and a partner of the European firm. Prior investments Fearghal led at his previous firm include data storage software vendor, Diligent Technologies, which was acquired by IBM for $200 million in 2008, a little more than three years later.
Earlier in his career Fearghal was with Ericsson where he was responsible for the development of software and hardware systems on a range of wireless platforms for various international markets. He also spent several years in the energy sector, primarily working on the development of large scale energy production facilities, and additionally worked with the investment banking practice at Goldman Sachs in London.
