Eze Vidra is the Head of Campus, Google’s new startup space in East London. Previously, Eze was a Strategic Partnerships Development Manager at Google London, responsible for the launch of Google Shopping Spain, Local Shopping in the UK and establishing business relationships in the commerce space across EMEA. Prior to joining Google in 2010, Eze was the Principal Product Manager of AOL Search in Europe, leading a team responsible for the user experience, monetization and distribution of AOL search across 18 European markets and 30 web and mobile properties.
In San Francisco, Eze was a senior product manager at Ask.com where leading vertical search and monetization projects, Product Manager at Gerson Lehrman Group in New York and team leader at Shopping.com in Israel. In 2003, he also co-founded a startup in Israel that developed text input solutions for touch screens and mobile phones.
A native Argentinean raised in Israel, Eze is fluent in Spanish, Hebrew and English. His passion for Internet startups and venture capital are evident on his blog, VC Cafe where he has obsessively profiled hundreds of Israeli startups since starting VC Cafe in 2005.
Eze holds a BA in Business and IT Management from the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Israel with honors. He is a graduate of the prestigious Zell Entrepreneurship program and has an MBA from London Business School. He is the recipient of the Coller Institute award for best venture capital management report in 2010 at London Business School and serves as a mentor in several online incubators in Europe including Seedcamp, Springboard, Launch48, Oxygen, Startup Weekend, Lean Startup Machine and Entrepreneurship Summer School.
Special interests include: search, Android applications, virtual goods, mobile payments and innovative eCommerce models.
