Has been writing on-line since the late 1990’s, primarily in the field of mobile technology, PDA’s and smartphones, but now exploring and using new media on the internet and examining the explosion in mobile computing.
One of the founders of All About Symbian, he is one of the leading commentators on Symbian OS and the smartphone industry.
His work at The Podcast Network includes shows around unsigned bands and music, mobile gaming, technology and the arts. His coverage of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe garnered him a British Acadamey BAFTA nomination.
January 2009 saw himself and Kevin Dixie publicly launch of The Daily Dust, a “good news” online newspaper for the UK.
Currently working on a number of new start-ups in both media and mobile, he is based in Edinburgh.
