Evan Rudowski
Evan Rudowski is a 22-year veteran of online and internet and is current co-founder of SubHub (www.subhub.com).
Previously Evan was founder of Atlantic Leap (www.atlanticleap.net) which provides recruitment and other services to U.S. internet companies seeking to enter or expand in Europe.
From 1998-2001 Evan was managing director of Excite Europe and Excite UK Ltd. From 1996-1998 Evan was senior producer at Excite.com, responsible for roughly half of the content channels on the Excite web portal. Also at Excite he was director of City.net, once the leading travel website.
Before Excite Evan worked in a business development role at News Corporation, responsible for various activities at iGuide, News Corp’s first-ever internet venture.
Evan began his career at Newsday where from 1987 to 1995 he was responsible for launching and managing some of the earliest online activities at this major daily newspaper.
Evan received his Masters degree from the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. He received his Bachelors degree in Communication Arts from Hofstra University in New York, where he was also editor-in-chief of “Nonsense,” the award-winning collegiate humor magazine, and president of the university chapter of the Society for Collegiate Journalists.
Evan is a current board member of the UK chapter of EO, the Entrepreneurs’ Organization.
