Erik runs sales and marketing for CMDI, America’s 1# Republican fundraising platform. CMDI’s flagship product, Crimson was used to process 2 out of every 3 dollars for federal candidates in 2012:
Prior to joining CMDI, Erik founded 2 fundraising technology companies whose products have raised over $300 million for hundreds of political and cause-based organizations.
For his work during the 2008 election cycle, Erik received 2 Polly Awards and 2 Reed Awards. Erik recieved a 3rd Polly for his work in the 2010 elections where he worked with 125 campaigns.
In the spring of 2009 Erik founded BlueSwarm, the precursor to Fundly, based on technology originally developed by eNlisson International. Erik founded eNilsson in 1998 and to serve the corporate web technologies market and expanded into politics. eNilsson quickly scaled the political ranks to include senatorial, gubernatorial, and presidential clients.
Erik’s first venture backed company, CareScout, was profitably acquired by Genworth North America in 2008.
Prior to taking the entrepreneurial plunge, Erik was a marketing and executive at Bowne & Co. and Hoffmann-La Roche. Erik is a graduate of Middlebury College.
