Erik Lumer is a serial entrepreneur who founded Cascaad in fall 2008, with the goal to enable more personalized experiences online.
Cascaad’s real-time recommendation technology powers a new generation of social news readers that surface content tailored to individual interests. The company is also behind CircleMe, the first online service dedicated to help users track, share and engage with all their personal likes in one place.
Previously, Erik co-founded and was CEO of Babelgum, one of the pioneers in Internet Television.
Earlier on, Erik did research on Internet mathematics, machine learning and visual neuroscience at leading institutions including Stanford University, Xerox Parc and University College London.
