Husband, skier, entrepreneur, biker, and media junkie. Erik currently is a Product lead within the Cisco Collaboration Group. Erik arrived at Cisco via the acquisition of Versly, a start-up he co-founded with Benjamin Renaud in 2009. Versly focused on enterprise content collaboration and communication tools.

Before Versly, Erik helped lead Business Development and Strategy for Yahoo!'s Communication and Community properties. While there, Erik helped establish the Y! platform and social initiatives, as well as sourced and drove acquisitions totaling of over 370MM that focused on expanding and reinforcing Y! products.

Before Yahoo!, Erik helped launch Jumpcut, acquired by Yahoo!, as the first employee helping build one of the first social media brand platforms used in the original Doritos "Crash the Superbowl" Contest in 2007.

Erik is best described as someone who loves to find the opportunity and get things off the ground. This is seen in the way he helps other entrepreneurs tackle the challenge of bringing these things together.

Growing up in and around Lake Tahoe gave Erik a chance to pursue his love of ski racing, climbing, and mountain biking. Erik attended the University of Colorado, Boulder where he continued his racing career and focused on a degree in entrepreneurial finance mixed with a little creative advertising.
